I heard it doesn’t matter what you initially call the cat, it’s going to not respond to ‘Geroffthecounter!’ anyway…

Call him “JJ” for short.

I guess we saw this coming.

We never gave our cats names like “Fluffy” or “Bruno”. We gave them full names. Actually, in the tradition of TS Eliot, we gave our cats 3 names (I’ll use one actual example): Their “full” names, like Ricardo Martin; their “call” name, like Rico; and their “snuggy” name, like “Boo”. All of our cats responded to their names.

I expected a dog. Don’t remember a cat (or dog) in this comic.

we had, Digger O’Reilly, Scooter MacGruder, Oscar the Wild Child, Chaos Theory, Sophie Superhero, and S.K….which the censors would not let me print the full name……

Son’s cat was Richelieu. I guess he acted like it.
