We never gave our cats names like “Fluffy” or “Bruno”. We gave them full names. Actually, in the tradition of TS Eliot, we gave our cats 3 names (I’ll use one actual example): Their “full” names, like Ricardo Martin; their “call” name, like Rico; and their “snuggy” name, like “Boo”. All of our cats responded to their names.
