I got 7, then found another with Susan’s side by side, but I can wait till morning to find the ninth.

I am SO excited. I think I’ve found all nine in one minute! I will, of course, have to wait for the animation solution perfectionista semi-demi-quaver anonymous maker. But if I’m right, I will never beat this – or even equal it – again. Take a picture. Take my picture. ;>)

BTW… I meant to admire Claude’s taste in reading material….

MAD magazine … and that might be the comics pages on the arm of the chair.

BTW… I haven’t actually read MAD in a long time…

but I did see links to their announcement, about a year ago that it was ceasing publication of new material, and would no longer be available on newstands…

There was quite an outcry from fans, plus tributes all over the web.

I only recently found out that last Christmas, they published a humor piece about dumb people, and included everyone who had believed that announcement.

Who knows wherein the truth lies…. especially when it comes to a satirical magazine.

Some people think they actually just rescinded the decision to quit, after seeing the reaction.

One of my uncles … who would be about 124 years old if he were still alive… once showed me, back in the 1960’s, his business card from the 1920’s…

On the back side, it had the face later used by MAD and named Alfred E. Neuman… and it already had the caption, “What, me worry?”

But I digress….

what are the odds he’s ever read Cleo (though one never do know, do one?)

I’ve always said there are only so many puns…. and the homonyms and near rhymes and such that make them are quite likely to occur to more than one person.

I’m always making up puns I later see in print from years before…. and even then, some could have been made many times prior to that.

Kinda cool, though, that Claude and Pig say the same thing…

even if Claude’s making a joke, and Pig BELIEVES it.

I wanted to go to “Pearls” and post a link to that Cleo strip but so far tonight, I haven’t found it.

It took a while, but I finally found all the differences. What Cleo really wants is for that fly to land on Claude’s head.

I think Lenard is way beyond the need for concern. It’s time for action!

I got 7 from the original in very short order. With Susan’s side-by-side, I quickly found the other 2. Fastest time yet – about 2 minutes total.

No, I didn’t get them all. I would be extremely good at ‘find the 8 differences’. The one I missed, I looked at several times….it just didn’t register. Maybe next week.

I’m with Perky! I got all 8 in a very short time. That seems to be a personal best for me lately.
