My boss is a New York Italian. He actually uses the phrase “fugetabouttit” in context without irony. I laugh every time he does it. I’ve also told him that the pigeons in “Bolt” remind me of him; unfortunately, he’s never seen the movie.
I worked with a technition who was as nice and compassionate a woman as I have ever known. She was from Trinidad and I could only understand about 50% of what she said!
