I could just imagine if I responded back sarcastically like that to my mother what would happen.

My daughters & I always fold the laundry together. Since it’s not a favorite chore for ANY of us, we kind of go out of our way to make it fun. Sometimes we’re laughing so hard our sides hurt. For instance, my older daughter, when she laughs hard, bends at the waist, and my younger daughter will say, “Look! She’s folding!” which makes us all laugh harder.

why fold, role things into a log form .. no fold lines. I wear lots of "T"shirts… no lines or creases

The only thing i fold are pants. Shirts get hung on hangers and socks and underwear get tossed in a drawer. Assuming you are buying the right size the only wrinkles in them will be from the shape of your body and nothing you do while storing the clothes between uses will make any difference.

“Yes, Dear, you can help fold laundry and you can have dibs on underwear if you really want to.”

Raised four kids. Each of them had an assigned month, three per year. When it was your month, you got certain benefits (riding shotgun, last porkchop, you pick for game night and movie night etc.) but you also got certain chores. Everyone helped fold laundry every Saturday morning, but the “kid of the month” got the dreaded job of sorting and rolling socks.

Two university student daughters back home since late March. Seriously considering a solo journey on the Trans-Can Highway to Nova Scotia.
