My mother forbid me from wearing black. She said I was “too young” to wear black. When I got a job, while I didn’t go nuts about it, I DID buy some black clothes. Nowadays black skirts are a staple in my wardrobe. I have dressy AND casual.

Stick and stones can break your bones.

Black is slimming but that’s the last thing Stick needs!
