I remember everyone looking forward to Saturdays… no school plus all of the cartoons on TV. It was a special day, almost an event in itself.
Home video, cable/satellite channels and now streaming services have led to the demise of the Saturday morning programming. The last time I checked, none of the networks were broadcasting shows specifically aimed at kids on this day.
It’s sad. What do kids look forward to these days?

In a matter of thinking, there IS school today; today my younger daughter graduates from high school!
