Not during the strip. We are left with the intriguing possibility that something changes at the very, very last minute…but after the strip ends.

Does anyone know what happened to Frank Cho?

I suspect that the resolution only comes after the strip ends, since to resolve the tension and get Frank and Brandy together would mean the strip loses its driving force.
