She has been fighting cancer for almost 3 years and was just told she has less than 6 months left. All she wants is to pass quietly, with a minimum of pain and discomfort.
The dark faced Siamese boy is being adopted today! A man I adopted to about 18 months ago has been sharing pictures with his friends. One of them wants the kitten. Because I know how much Jon loves and cares for his kitties, I trust him to only send me people like himself.
2old I saw your kind comments about missing me. I am way behind in my queue for one thing. Rest assured, once the days grow shorter, and the nights longer, I will be glued to the computer again. I mean, what can you do outside in the cold winter months? Sigh! I don’t ski or anything, Grace is NOT my middle name! :-D

The dark faced kitten went to his forever home this morning. We have had a sweet young cat, about 5 months, that has been there for 4 weeks. He hated that cage but was sweet when people took him out. Three weeks ago a woman saw him and said that if he was still there when she got back from a trip, she wanted him.
He was and she took him home. YAY! The one caveat was her 15 month old daughter. The child is used to their other cat who let the child pounce on him, lie on him, etc.
She will have to monitor the toddler for a while but she seemed like a really responsible parent.
The other kittens will go back tomorrow. That leave Poncho and Lefty, twin grey/black tabbies (5 months), an adult tabby and Lightning. Lightning is a huge, long haired tuxedo kitty that someone turned in and he is very, very scared.
I need a favor from my “family” at Ten Cats. Anyone with hip replacement surgery in their past, please email and tell me how you survived, coped with, got through the three months of dealing with the 90 degree rule. Because of it, I’m not going to be able to drive or ride in any of my friends cars. I can’t afford a taxi every time I need to go somewhere. Also, just simple things around the house, such as pulling up your pants after going to the bathroom. How do you get through three months of being a prisoner in your home. To all inquiring minds….And ten cats friends! Windows 10 is working out beautiful! The best part I like about it, easier to use than 8.1, And NO previous settings are lost! Example: I have a slideshow on my desktop, to take the place of a screensaver……It was still there after the upgrade!….Still having fun with it! I only recommend it for computers less than 3 years old, as it takes up 3gb. of hard drive space. 1 GHz speed processor preferred.
