Red velvet was always an under appreciated motif.

Doonesbury fans will appreciate that exactly 10 years ago this week, GT was doing an arc on Donald Trump, the low hanging fruit, the gift that keeps on giving for cartoonists and comedians. Dan Quayle is long gone, but Trump just goes on and on.

When she got to the part about shag carpeting on the lab floor, our Safety Officer curled up in the fetal position and has been that way ever since.

The decanter containing green liquid with a critter in it: the critter sinks until in the 3rd drawing it drowns; in the 4th drawing the decanter changes shape to become a beaker with measurement markings, more lab than bordello,

It’s “Tradition”. The American Slave Owners (And their Descendants) just don’t want American Blacks getting any “Uppity” ideas. That Nat Turner guy was bad enough.A Successful slave rebellion was Terrifying to them.
