More likely “looked at it…and ate it.” The killing is a consequence of the eating. Sharks eat first, causing death. They don’t kill the prey and then eat it, like a lion does.

Sharks are fish. They can’t help having souless eyes. They are naturally cold-blooded. Who knew they liked comedy?
