BOY do I get this!!! I remember when I was living where my dog couldn’t be with me. Best day ever when I got back to someplace he could come live with me. I’d get teary seeing people out running around with their dogs in the car with them. Don’t want to do THAT again!

I feel that way about cats. I get jobs cat-sitting just to live with one for a while. :-)I would do the same thing if I had a dog I had to leave behind.
