PPYFSSI read your post from yesterday about the cat claws and when I got to the last sentence,,,,,well, I’m sorry but I burst out laughing! I think I have permanent scars on my legs from wearing bermuda shorts, cat on lap, husband rattled paper, blood!

@2old, the Last Rose of Summer
I reversed it. Win 10 is back to Win 7. I found out how to remove the Win icon in the tray, but Windows update is still set to download Win 10 as an “important update” with no way to negate it. If it were an optional update, I could hide it. I don’t know what I’m going to do when the next “important update” shows up, b/c Win 10 wants to “update” before anything else does. I need an option to remove it.Does anyone know if Bill Gates likes cats?? ;-DI hope he reads these boards.MS Edge couldn’t find any of my favorites, including gocomics. What good is that if it pops up Internet Explorer for me to get on all my favorite places? I even imported my favorites from IE, still nothing. So, I quit for the night, and it started the endless rebooting phase. I finally got to where it wanted to restart with Win 10, OR revert back to Win 7. I couldn’t hit revert fast enough!!! ;-DI laugh now, I wasn’t laughing then.Great pics today, all!I rely on them to lift my mood, and brighten my day. Thanks, all!
@beviekOh, I wish I had a massage like that!Little kitten is eating that up.IDK, relaxing cats seems so unnecessary…mine seem to snooze 20 hours a day. (Especially Onyx who is hanging on my bad leg.) i just don’t know if they NEED "relaxing!;-D
A peaceful Sunday to everyone.-——————-@Noreen Klose: Based on your comments I may wait to update. My new computer has Win 8.1.-——————-Be happy and healthy my friends.
In the space of 17 days towards the end of 2013 I lost two cats, firstly Lone Ranger to liver failure, then two weeks later Thomas to cancer, and took in Misty three days after that.It was a strange time, after losing the two boys I was searching the Cat Protection League websites looking for a suitable companion(s) for Chico who hadn’t been on her own all her life and was going spare. I then got a phone call from a neighbour telling me there was a young female cat that needed a new home ASAP…….
Misty is a Birman/Maine Coon cross who was approximately four years old at the time. I went to collect her knowing she was black and white, boy did I get a shock. I was expecting something like a Tumble or Southwold look-a-like, but I was floored when I first saw her, I thought I was seeing a ghost. She’s the spitting image of Lone Ranger, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I put together a mash-up of four photos so that I could show people why I thought there was something very very weird going on.
Misty is top left/bottom right, Lone Ranger is top right/bottom left
What can I say? If this happened in a movie, you’d never believe it.
Anyway, Misty is a real sweetie, she has a few quirks, but I’m used to dealing with quirky cats :-) I realised quite quickly that she was making no attempt to get out, she seemed quite happy just to look out of the window and not hang about the doors or cat flap trying to escape. I supervised her outings into the garden a few times after nearly a month of her being here, but something wasn’t quite right. I thought I was being over protective as I’d just lost two cats, but her behaviour was because she’d spent the first four years of her life in a protected environment, she was an Indoor Cat with no ‘street-smarts’.I built her an outside run so she can sit outside when I’m at work, and I supervise her outings in the garden when I’m at home. She likes to hunt for frogs and grasshoppers in the long grass.Misty only looks like Lone Ranger, she’s her own cat, and I’m thankful for that. She’s totally different to him, and because she’s so different I don’t expect her to act and behave like he did. She’s totally bonded with me, and because she’s a ‘single occupancy’ cat, she’s coped well with the loss of Chico. She’s the cat I need at the moment.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my Furry-Purrers, I look forward to seeing yours :-)
No adoptions yesterday. :( There were plenty of kids who wanted to hold the kittens so that was good.. The more they get handled by strangers, the better. One still hisses at Brad when he picks him up but that’s because Brad doesn’t spend as much time with them as I do.
I was suspicious of 2 mouse holes so close together like that…silly cats are too trusting with the mice today in the strip. I wonder if they can get untied themselves or finally confess to Annie and get her help?
Thank you all to all who read the stories of my cats and their time with me. It means a lot to me to know that the ones I’ve been able to share my life with have had their stories shared with those who care about their own four-legged friends. I look forward to reading your stories about yours.

it’s been a journey through all sorts of memories for me
I am SURE it has been a JOURNEY! Been there with all my cats and dogs! And I DO appreciate your photos and stories, they were NEVER too long! I want to get my photos out there, and figure out how to get my dogs and previous cats on my laptop so I can share them as well.
Dry and Dusty, it wouldn’t let me do a reply, but I slyly copied my comment:
I’m here every day and enjoy the postings and the pictures and cartoons and such. It’s just usually about 10pm ET when I’m getting to Ten Cats. I laugh and cry with the rest of the Ten Cat family when the stories are told.
