I met my old loverOn the street last nightShe seemed so glad to see meI just smiledAnd we talked about some old timesAnd we drank ourselves some beersStill crazy after all these yearsOh Still crazy after all these years
I’m not the kind of manWho tends to socializeI seem to lean onOld familiar waysAnd I ain’t no fool for love songsThat whisper in my earsStill crazy after all these yearsOh still crazy after all these years
Four in the morningCrapped outYawningLonging my life awayI’ll never worryWhy should I?It’s all gonna fade
Now I sit by my windowAnd I watch the carsI fear I’ll do some damageOne fine dayBut I would not be convictedBy a jury of my peersStill crazy after all these yearsOh still crazyStill crazyStill crazy after all these years
Wow, what an obscure but oh-so pertinent reference. Ol’ George was so crazy, even 19th century politicians could be swayed to pass laws protecting women & children from the likes of him. Still couldn’t vote, still could work in the coal mines at a tender age, but dammit, they weren’t going to be subjected to the depradations of an @$$ like him anymore. When even the most conservative are repulsed by your behaviour, you are beyond saving. So, sayonara George, not even The Donald himself could put up with you.
