Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson for August 28, 2015

Transcript:
Janis: You're right! It's very pleasant out here early in the morning!
Janis: I can have a leisurely cup of coffee and watch the beautiful sunrise!
Janis: I might start getting up early every morning!
Arlo: I'm not worried.
my husband gets up at 4am every morning and goes for a walk, I on the other hand refuse to get up that early, I prefer to sleep until about 5:30 or 6……….zzzzzzzzz!
Hubby is an early riser, but I have to set the alarm to get out of bed at 8 on Sundays. One of the rules of nature – folks who can get by on six hours sleep always marry people who feel nine really isn’t enough.
Dani you are so right. I get by on 5 or 6 hours of sleep and have done so for all my years. My wife has to have 8 or 9 hours of sleep. I am up and through the first pot of coffee by the time she begins to move. My “teacup” Poodle and I enjoy the early morning.
When we first got married, my wife would get up with me and make a large breakfast, pack my lunch and send me off to work. One day I said, "You don’t have to do this. I don’t really like to eat this much in the morning.’ She said, ok, and in 35 years she has never got up with me again!

Maybe she could help Arlo “get up” and they could both enjoy a little birdsong in the morning.

Same here, Janis, same here. If only it weren’t for TCM and Gocomics…

Hugo (tiny poodle-mix) and I surprised deer a few hours before sunrise a couple of times this week. Don’t think Hugo even saw them.
