Cathy: "All roads lead to Rome", However, this Summer, most air travels begin in Vegas. Irving: AACK!

Best vacation for me is right at home- a beautiful garden, pool all to myself and a frig and freezer stocked with all my favorite foods and drinks. Plenty of books I want to read, TiVo full of good shows. Why travel?

Exhibit 1: This is why it’s “book early they win; book late we lose” - at least, in my experience.
I love to travel but I always feel jinxed, whether or not I really was. Finding out that I actually fared OK (pardon the pun), when I compare notes in retrospect with some other travelers around the same time, does surprisingly little to make me feel more in control and less of a patsy.
