Why does Lynn draw Michael with male-pattern baldness and a comb-over? It’s pretty consistent, too.

Wow! I wonder how that line gets drawn through the words I write. It happens to a lot of other people, too. And I don’t have a clue as to how get rid of it.

Sometimes I think all computer programers aresadists!

The comb over is due to the colorist misinterpreting where the artist has drawn the hair. In black &white drawings, not every line is drawn, some open spaces are left for the viewer to fill in (Michael’s hair). If colored in literally, you’ll get the look you see here.

Usually the artist doesn’t color their work. This is especially true here, where black &white strips are being colorized 30 some years after their initial run.

Mike your on to something better then your mom did trying to protest.

I was going to post that, but you beat me to it.

I’ll admit I’m pleasantly surprised at Mike. He’s been a demonstrably self-absorbed kid (hardly unique among kids, BTW), so I didn’t expect him to come up with something that benefits someone else. Good on him.
