She was the one who found the costumes in the first place and those were the only ones left? I agree, let John go as a dentist or neither of them will be taken seriously.
Another line from my son, Aaron. He didn’t know it, but with great lines like this, he was working for me long before he was old enough to ask for a raise in his allowance.
Wow, Lynn Johnston’s husband at this time, must have done something really nasty to her to have written this. It’s payback time! No loving wife would EVER spring this costume on her husband at the last minute, Elly. Some guys could carry it off IF it was their idea of laughs….but not John by any means. Just my interpretation of the joke showed here today. I’m feeling deep…..very deep. ; )
