Have you decided to finally come out of your shell and see the world? Meet new people? Have some adventures? Satellite T.V. is not- Timmy: Pipe down. Sportscenters is on.

Today’s background music: “Cable TV” by Weird Al Yankovic.:(Yes, I know that’s a dish, but really, what’s the difference?)

Start shouting, Goat. It’s only sportscenter. Now when Timmy actually starts watching something interesting you should pipe down.
Seriously though, I’d have nothing against sports channels if some of the local cable stations would get it through their minds not to interrupt previously scheduled programming with sports programs that the people who are going to watch anyway bought a cable channel to watch it on already. Hey, if I know a baseball, football, basketball, soccer game or a race is scheduled, that’s great. But it really upsets me when they have to interrupt other shows just to run a show talking about the professional or college teams in the region who will be playing within the next few days (or the following week) at a time already in the schedule.

He might not be coming out of his shell, exactly, but he’ll be shelling out. Baby steps. Slow and steady.

Timmy you must talk to Verne at O.T.H. for shell ideas for he has had some good ones over the years !

Complete cop out Timmy. TV of any genre is NOT real life and that includes “reality shows”.

I’d say, since AT&T owns DTV now, it would be a more substantial amount . . .

He traded his GPS for it. Just didn’t seem like much point in keeping it.
