from the look on her face, shouldn’t she be saying, “maybe it seems that way UNTIL watching her finally catch it and eat it.”

Well if they catch the mosquitoes I don’t mind them eating it.

Our cat can leap 4-5 feet into the air & catch flies.

I used to lift our old cat above my head so he could reach the moths on the ceiling.

Our cat would sit on the window sill next to the screen and catch the flies that landed. Must have found them very tasty.

My two found a whole new level of yuk. They play poop hockey. Yep — toss a fresh one from the litter box (fresh, but not too moist), and bat it around the kitchen floor for a while. Naturally, being cats, the game will end suddenly, leaving the “puck” wherever…

We used to have a cat that played hockey with bottlecaps on the bathroom floor. At night. After we had gone to bed. We would clean top to bottom, stem to stern (or so we thought) and that night she would be back in the game. We never did find her stash. She also liked to lick Hall’s Mentholyptus cough drops when she could get her paws on them.

There was a “Rose is Rose” Sunday strip showing Peekaboo delightedly examining a burger, fries, and drink. Rose walked up to see what was going on. Last panel, Rose was hiding under the covers of her bed, while Jimbo explained, “To Peekaboo, it didn’t look like a cricket!”
