They collide again?

No, it doesn’t look like Robin. I still do did the girl think Janis had a ball? Was Janis listening to a game on her iPhone? But why would that inspire an on-looker to tackle her?

After way too much thought, I think Janis is watching a football game on a portable device. She gets so into the game she starts running like the player she’s watching, onl to be tackled by someone who apparently was watching the defense.

Me, I so old I initially thought she was holding a radio. It took several minutes for me to realize I had the wrong device. It just never occurs to me that someone would choose to watch live sports on a 4" screen. If you’re out for a walk, set your DVR.

Yes, this strip is ludicrous. Perhaps it’s time for me to quit reading. She should not be watching anything while running since dozens of different accidents could result. This one is only confusing, not amusing.

I agree that they were both listening to the same football game and are rooting for oposite teams. I hope what happened doesn’t affect ‘fantasy’ football scores.
