would you like to try some of my rhubarb wine?
Please dont!
It was a very good year...
It's crisp, light and fruity with a rather pleasant bouquet...
It's ghastly!
OOh yes, I'll try some!
Me, too!
Ten out of ten for his marketing skills!
Best thing to do with rhubarb is to make a strawberry rhubarb pie. This opinion is based on over 60 years of experience with rhubarb, beginning with eating stalks of it raw, as a child.
Whenever the subject of dog ‘chocolate’ arises on Fred strips (as it does pretty regularly), I’m always stunned that someone in the US hasn’t spotted what must evidently be a massive gap for this product.
Mind you, most american chocolate I’ve ever had is so low in cocoa that a dog wouldn’t be able to eat enough to be made ill (other than from the amount of sugar and fat).

Rhubarb sauce…..like apple sauce but even better. No recipe, boil the heck out it and sweeten to taste! Lots of sugar needed……mmmmm!
