Hi Guys….

For a while I thought I was alone on the comics…wandering through empty forums, like the beginning of a bad sci-fi movie.

.. she picks up a handful of sand, and lets it fall through her fingers…

“What happened to the people?” she wonders…“Who built this place; who painted the murals on the walls….the murals that make me laugh?Are they just sleeping now…. or will they never return?Who will I find to laugh with me?”

Just in case anyone ever comes back….

It has come to my attention that I am being blamed for the permit issued to the small, bad-tempered circus that parked itself in Larry’s yard yesterday.

Well, really…Monkey, you DID see my initials in the ledger….but I collected that $138.33 for just what you said…a Special Use Parking Permit.

For parking on the street.Not in Larry’s yard….and only when the Ballard Arts Commission was holding a suitable event, as determined by their Street Performance and Lawn Restoration Permit….

Which they already had.They showed it to me…and I properly recorded the information with their parking fee….

Of course I made a photocopy of the permit, as well, for that file.

Kyle must be living in the Oklahoma subdivision of Ballard.

Several years ago, I saw a documentary about two geologists who found a way to study the question and quantify their results. They found that Kansas was, in fact. flatter than a pancake.

Yes, I see a MESS here! It is really messed up. Haven’t noticed it elsewhere, but I am late and have only hit a couple of my strips so far, and probably won’t finish my queue tonight.
