We don’t have a wide-screen, or any game consoles. Our daughters are just fine. They don’t watch all that much TV to begin with. We DO, however, have a killer collection of movies.
A thought just occurred to me about how TV watching has changed over the years. The big, bulky CRT-style TVs almost always sat on the floor. So people looked down to view. Now most sets are wall-mounted so people look up to view.
