Poor Steve. He’s missing things that modern kids couldn’t imagine living without.

You can’t force people to love Dickens anymore than you can force a love of football, ballet, or opera.

We don’t have a wide-screen, or any game consoles. Our daughters are just fine. They don’t watch all that much TV to begin with. We DO, however, have a killer collection of movies.

A thought just occurred to me about how TV watching has changed over the years. The big, bulky CRT-style TVs almost always sat on the floor. So people looked down to view. Now most sets are wall-mounted so people look up to view.

Well that’s awfully judgmental of her.

Anybody else notice that title of the magazine changes between the first and third panels?

And the fourth, too.

She seems to be reading Oceans magazine, as the title changes from Atlantic to Pacific to Indian.
