Hi Snoopy I am currently unemployed. However, I can pay your $.20 debt to Lucy so she will leave you alone. I do not want you be hounded by her day after day. I know how it feels to be hounded by creditors!

Lucy has a future in the IRS.

The check is in the mail.

She’s not just out; she’s out of luck!

She’ll turn you over to a collection agency and they’ll come in the middle of the night and repossess your Sopwith Camel.

Snoopy might have to work the bill amount off for Lucy. I don’t think dogs have any money on them.

Lucy isn’t the worst bill collector imaginable. At least she isn’t charging for late fees or interest. Imagine if Snoopy had to pay student loans.
