Just to see what it’s like for Phil’s sister having gone thru all that hell.

Family members who keep worrying about unmarried sisters and brothers always say it’s because they don’t want them to be all alone in their old age. Maybe so; I know my bro and sister worry about me since I’m now officially old, and unmarried. But I’ve always partly suspected that they worry that they’ll end up stuck with me if I need care as an oldie…

I used them in the 80s. Very tight budget.

That maniacal look in the last panel says it all.

I used cloth diapers for my children in the 80’s – less landfill waste…

Cloth diapers are very much “in”, these days. Lots of styles and brands, lots of newfangled diaper pails. A good half of my friends use them at least part of the time now.

We used them for our children through the mid-1980s. Got harder and harder to get. At least your washing machine doesn’t die for lack of exercise.

I thought cloth diapers went extinct in 1970.-—————————-That’s what the ad agencies want you to think. They’re still around. You just don’t see them advertised all over TV.

I’d like to know if Phil and Geo ever had kids, too? Anyone know?

I used a diaper service in the late 70’s. Best decision I ever made. They took care of the mess. I also found and used little “diaper clips” that took the place of pins. I never could see using disposable diapers that overflowed the land fill and were not biodegradable.

You siblings want you to suffer, too.

There’s a fairly simple operation he can get that will prevent that last item in the “have it all” list.

Marriage is a great institution. But, so is Belleview! FYI. It’s a mental institution.

I use cloth. Definitely not extinct and much easier when I cannot always afford regular.
