The Yellow Kid and Lord Plushbottom. I actually remember “Plushie” from reading “Moon Mullins,” which ran from 1923 to 1991.
“Inhale when I do, Smokey!” (Like a couple of overweight guys at the beach trying to impress the ladies!) Classic!

Gweedo…. that is what I thought too….. “EXHALE” seems a better fit. At least when I exhale, it feels like my chest/abdomen get smaller. I like seeing Plushbottom!!!! He is a grand chap!
I used to love old plushy in his smoking jacket and fez. Quite an air of dignity…
