How did the human race survive up to this point with all these food allergies trying to kill us.

Peanut allergies? Really? The entire world under the age of 10 lived on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches when I was a kid and nobody got sick from it. I talking hundreds of kids at my school alone. Nowadays any class over 10 students seems to have at least one kid with the allergy.

It must be a 21st century invention.
