Did the rest of you have summer reading lists when you were kids? I did NOT. But my kids do.

Other than on tv, and apparently in comics, I’ve never heard of anyone getting summer reading lists. Is it an American thing? (I’m in Canada.)

I never had a summer reading list but I loved to read, still do, so I read all the time anyway.

I also always loved reading. Local library usually has to borrow any that I want from elsewhere -so I have bought dozens of books lately from Amazon and Alibris (I love when Amazon lets you check TOC etc inside before deciding to buy)!
