At least it’s not like the Fred Flintstone/Barney Rubble (Flintstones characters) Pebbles cereal trick situations that happened in kidvid TV commercials for many years.

Earlier on, it seemed as if perhaps all of the characters were conspiring to trick Walt.

Scancarelli ain’t no Will Elder, that’s for sure. Nor Wally Wood, for that matter.

Show some consideration, Jeff — How can Mutt beat you to a pulp if you don’t slow down?

After Joel’s wonderful cameo appearance as the guest lead in Sunday’s comic, he came over this morning and we sat out on the back porch in the chilly early morning with our big coffees and we each sampled a few bowls of Irish Cream tinctured burley leaf in our pipes. Joel and I both were chatting about Mutt and Jeff and the current predicament, and while it is still enormously perplexing to both of us, we both were commenting on how of the two fellows, Jeff has a far better moustache than Mutt in our opinions. I suggested to my wife as she left this morning that since it should be a nice day, that Joel and I may go fishing this afternoon after I get out of class. As it is her day for making dinner, I asked her if she would be willing to hold off until perhaps around 6pm so that I could get a fair amount of fishing time in.

I keep wondering why Go Comics suddenly has so many of the comics in black and white. The Comics Kingdom version of Gasoline Alley has all of this in color!
