Say “You’re welcome” when someone says “Thank you.”
It’s a fair point. Eno didn’t say “thank you” when he received the coffee, so he has no right to complain that he didn’t get a “thank you” for handing over the money. This was a business transaction, not a gift on either side.

I’d truly like to know how “gave” got surplanted by “gifted”. Still sounds jarringly-affected to me.
That would never happen in the old days.
I notice a facial resemblance between these two. Also a lack of intelligence. Stopped myself from continuing.
