The fatalities to birds from turbines is miniscule compared to that from cats, to say nothing of tall buildings and chemical agriculture. The Danish offshore wind farms’ service platforms are a favorite nesting site for gulls and cormorants, while most other birds consider them to be a single unit and simply fly around the whole array.
