If it bleeds, it leads. And paparazzi have to get really close so you don’t see all the other paparazzi sharks swarming around. Personal space??? So sue us! Yep, there oughta be a law.
Yesterday they brought here in TV a broadcast from all things, which have been forbidden only a few monthes ago. In the end the commentor jumped in a lake in dispair and commited suicide!
For me, the worst thing about TV today is what I call “Siezure Vision” – jumping from one shot to another at warp speed. That, and the drug ads…yeesh.
Sometimes, athletes try to wear a cap with a sponsor’s logo on it because the athlete gets paid for doing it. The tv director then zooms in close to cut out the logo since the tv network is not getting paid.
The only POINT of the modern TV network news is to deliver as much anguish and disgust as possible in quest for ratings. If they can’t find it, they invent it. Ask Dan Rather.
I don’t need to see heartbroken people sobbing their hearts out. I also can’t stand gawkers who have to stop and watch the anguish of others. Can’t we allow people some privacy.

Why does the TV news media think we enjoy watching hour after hour of car chases narrated by some idiot in a helicopter trying to make conversation?

Hate to say it, but he has a really valid point here. I hate it when the camera zooms in close enough to see every nose hair on the actor. Yuck!
