i still find it very difficult to walk past a leaf – or seed pod – on the sidewalk and not step on it; the sound is delightful. when i am no longer able to walk i’ll still roll my wheelchair over them. i may get old(er) but stomping on leaves never will.

“Why don’t you make like a tree…and bark!”

If it really was Youth Revival, he would make them rake the leaves and do their homework.

Now that is great. Childhood may never end somewhere. Just all from that one tree? Still, leaves one in a good mood.

I tried that a number of years ago. Trust me, the leaves just don’t absorb as much impact when your an adult.

My wife claims that I do not have an inner child: it’s all on the surface.
I’m not in my second childhood,. I never got out of my first.
And because if it, I’m going to live to be 100.

Depends on the number of leaves, the kind of leaves, the size of the leaves — and where they fall. The aforementioned compost idea is the best by far.
