Poncho: I'm not a conformist! Puppy: Oh, no? You even accepted the name they gave you. "Porcho". I chose my own name: Nocturna. Poncho: Okay, I'll take a non-conformist name, too. Any suggestions? Nocturna: How about "Peregrin." It's Latin for "stranger". Poncho: Can I be "Perry" for short? Nocturna: Why don't you just get an office job, 2.5 kids and a leaf-blower and get it over with?

“Nocturna.” Feminine. Still inconclusive, but a weight on the other side of the balance…
“Perry.” OK, I think we knew that already…
But isn’t “peregrin” Latin for “traveller”?
ksoskins about 14 years ago
Nocturna is a villainess in the Batman series of comics. She first appeared in Detective Comics #529 (August 1983).

Actually, the spelling is peregrine meaning to wander, to travel, migratory. Anyway, it’s a cool name.

Looks like Nocturna is giving Porcho the finger in that last panel.
BTW: observing Italian pronunciation, isn’t “Porcho” pronounced “PORK-O”!!!
