Back in the good old days, when I was working steady, I would buy season tickets for all the local theaters. I only ended up missing one show (Fosse) in 17 years due to illness because whether they were $15 or $85/seat, they were too expensive not to use. Many of the companies drastically scaled back their productions or have gone out of business altogether since the recession hit, so I don’t feel like I’m missing much.

They must have had something more important in mind if they b lew off expensive concert tickets.

Wonder if that Jackson Browne concert was say 9 months before Gene was born?

Jackson Browne is an excellent songwriter. His guitarist David Lindley is amazing, but he must feel so unfulfilled – Lead guitarist in Jackson Browne’s band.

We enjoy most live entertainment. Went to a middle school choir/band concert last week. Now that’s the stuff you don’t blow off, it’s too important….

I like most live music, no matter the skill level of the musicians.
