David, 550 degrees F is top of my oven’s register. I’ve a top of the line range… 550 is the self-cleaning temperature.45 minutes is a long time for what amounts to a one-layer cake.Are you sure it isn’t 350 F for about 30 minutes (+ the extra 10 for the sausage)?

420 degrees C? That’s 790 degrees F. My oven won’t go that hot!

What temperature is the oven REALLY supposed to be set at? Do you mean 420 F?
