Beth: Got a phone call after posting earlier tonight. My friend Laurie that offered me a place to stay to recoup after surgery didn’t hesitate to offer me the lower level of her tri-level home when she found out that I would need a place. In fact, she seemed disappointed that it would be temporary even though temporary might end up being a year or two. I won’t have to live on the street, or live out of my truck or impose on you and move to Tennessee.I would have kitchen privileges upstairs and she would need to come down to do laundry, but other than that, it wouldn’t be bad at all.I think I will sleep tonight. Have had trouble with blood pressure the last couple of weeks because of stress and withdrawal from my pain meds, but I think it may be down tomorrow. If something happens (I have lived long enough to know that the best laid plans of mice and men don’t always go as planned) I hope I will have Tennessee as a back-up plan. I love you guys!!!!

@Beth PetersonBeth, I always cook in cast iron skillets. I inherited them from my mother, who inherited them from her mother, who got them as a wedding gift in 1902. I did not know about the magnesium and will discuss it with my doctor when I see her next week.

Mr. Hollingsworth found a good business. Now he will need to set up in a different location. Last Rose – your pictures are perfect for this. You don’t know how much pleasure they bring. Happy – I don’t know how you manage to find the perfect pictures with a bunny to go with the comics. I so enjoy them too.

Moose opened up his babysitting service – You Bring ‘em, I’ Lick ’em.

Had a second adoption after I left PetCo yesterday. This time next week we’ll be having breakfast in Idaho and on our way to meet Last Rose of Summer. We’ll also be seeing Chiro, the 3 legged kitty I adopted out last year to the family in Vancouver WA. She sent me a new picture of him last week and he’s gorgeous and spoiled.

I would have gone with ‘Cat Bath’.

Another adoption today. That leaves 2 kittens at Petco but the day is still young.. Susan called and said a guy might call me about my little fosters.

One more adopted. That leaves just one – which I will get if he’s not adopted today.

QOA Will Scooter, Casper and the one and only Moose be house sitting while you are away? Those cats will have to handle all the little Trick or Treaters by themselves.

The last kitten at PetCo got adopted but the new mom has company so I’m keeping him with my 4 until Wed.
