Thank you for your kind thoughts, my sister was a cat person too. She was adopted by five strays who knew a good thing when they saw it. One of the strays was brought to her home by one of the existing former strays!
My sister had fought an epic battle with cancer for nine years, and stayed upbeat and positive throughout. Unfortunately her body ran out of resources to continue the fight, but her mind didn’t. In the end it’s all about quality and not quantity, she was 53.
We’re sending her on her way (airmail, straight up the chimney!), on Thursday 5th of November, she’ll go out with a Bang!
@MCTS- Lost my brother at 50. He was a fighter too. I still miss him everyday. We understand your loss and grieve with you. Thank you for sharing something so very personal
We haven’t seen Bucky since 1 this afternoon. It’s been 10 hours, a long time even for him. He looked like he was a bit sore on his left hind leg, so I gave him some food with a bit of pain meds mixed in when he was sitting under the hedge in the backyard. We’ve gone out and looked for him twice, all around the neighborhood, and have been calling him constantly. We keep him and Big Man in at night, and don’t let them out until after 9 on weekdays, after the rush hour. He roams quite far beyond the backyard, so we’re hoping someone took him in. Prayers and good thoughts, please.
Im sorry if i don’t seem very sympathetic with peoples loss, (family, friends or pets).I do feel for you when you post about your loss.I just never know what to say.I understand loss and pain. Ive had enough in the past few years.I’m just not as good with words as most of the people here. Especially when talking about pain and loss.Im in this place, GoComics, because it is a good place to forget some of my own loss. This place is fun. When I’m laughing at a comic, or "…awww…*img at a cute post, its like a salve. This place is good for my soul. Thank you everyone.
All of my little babies are gone. The next foster mom came and got them earlier this evening. I cleaned the kitten room. Now I don’t know what to do with myself before bed. Usually I would go in and play for about 30 min to wear them out for bedtime.

More Cats Than Sense, I feel your pain. I lost two of my three sisters, neither made it to their 40’s. Both were cat owners.
