Hillary Clinton takes an 11-hour grilling from a hostile Benghazi committee and comes out looking great. Meanwhile, the Republicans can’t even handle a two-hour debate moderated by CNBC, the Unfettered Capitalism Channel, without whining about how mean the moderators are.

They can stand up to foreign menaces as long as they don’t make them answer tough questions.

Imagine a question-and-answer session (IMO they aren’t debates) run by actual leftists. I suggest Saul Alinsky and Noam Chomsky.

It is a tried and true debate tactic. When you can’t answer the question, attack the questioner.
