Pearls Before Swine by Stephan Pastis for November 25, 2015
Transcript:
Pig: What are you doing, Rat? Rat: We have ants. So I'm gonna spray them with this ant spray. Pig; Does it make you feel bad? Rat: No, because ants don't scream or call for help, which we take to mean they don't suffer, which allows us to kill them with impunity. Ant 1: Ahhhhh! Ant 2: Lordy, lordy! Ant 3: A dingo took my baby! Rat: Well, that was creative. Pig: Those darn dingos.

Is that dingo still around? It could eat rat and make pearls a happier place.

Pig and Rat are not dingoes; they’re dingbats.

Must be Aussie ants. Did they immigrate legally? If so, Rat should leave them alone!

I believe ants comprise a majority of fauna mass on the planet.

This is why Vegans (and other aliens) think eating vegetables is less “wrong” than eating animals – they can’t hear the vegetables scream. …but during the day of the triffids they’ll be first ones up against the wall.

spray vinegar on those ants. or, spread diatomaceous earth around the perimeter. the vinegar will burn them like acid. the earth will be like razor blades and cut open their bellies and they bleed their guts out.

One of those great lines you can say when you can’t think of any thing appropriate to say but when you still need to say something: “A Dingo ate my Baby.”
Extra points if you say it with a fake Australian accent.

Actually if referring to Seinfeld and the original quote it’s: “A dingo ate my baby”…just saying.

My baby once took a dingo to dinner and a movie — it never really worked out and now they are seeing other people slash Australian hounds.

The Seinfeld episode was a reference to a real life occurrence. The ant in the strip above did not say the same thing Elaine did (“Maybe the dingo ate your baby.”) so I’d assume it was not meant to be imitating Elaine.

I had ants marching through my kitchen door last summer. Grabbed the cleanser by the sink, dusted a little on the door sill — problem gone!

i don’t know about the dingo… [32 year after the fact it was proven that the Dingos did eat her kid]——But i do know about “Lordy Lordy”——and am thinking this is a very" shady" back door way into suggesting that “Black Lives Matter”
