“Warm ember”? But be careful not to emphasize the last syllable.

I like Knowvember — appeals to quest for knowledge — altho Warmmember does have a certain charm

Why don’t we just do away with it and add another month in the summer. We are having out first day of snow – me don’t like!

Idiots (the people in the strip, not you all)! The “No” in “November” has nothing to do with negativity. It’s from the Latin word for “nine” (“novem)” and the month got its name from the fact that it was originally the NINTH month of the year in the Roman calendar, which started in March and ended in December (January and February weren’t counted at that time).

Call it “December” and make it 61 days. It already looks like it.

I’m really surprised that the Xtian “right” doesn’t make a bigger fuss over the names of the days of the week, plus a couple’f months.

For what it’s worth, November originally meant “ninth month”. (The Romans had their year end in February.)
