I’m too young to have known so many people that have passed, but they did anyway; AND have a few great, vivid memories, too.

While some relatives are like Mother Teresa – others are like Attila the Hun or just plain toxic.Some relatives I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.Sorry if you’ve lost loved ones and miss them but I completely understand dreading family holiday get together s.

Argythree and Anon4242 are both right. I know I’d miss my folks if they were gone and look forward to spending Thanksgiving with them. My husband’s mom is gone and he doesn’t miss her one bit and is glad we won’t be spending the holiday with his family. Some people make great mothers and others should never have had children. It’s sad really.

Let me give you my bitter, alcoholic, verbally abusive mother’s address & you can take my place.

Maybe the Wiz couldinvite them over to his house and then a very important emergency could come up and the the Wiz and Fink could go to the bar to handle it – it has always worked for me.
