Global warming is a nutcase theory popularised by the tree-huggers at NASA with their ‘data’ and their ‘science’. I don’t feel it, so I don’t believe in it. So there.
If it’s true, why have so many been caught cheating by fudging their data to fit their theories. Instead of changing their theories to fit the facts?I’m not sure about climate change, but if it’s true…then I think it is not man made, the sun is causing it.
The Weather Channel a part of The Weather Channel Companies. Starting November 2008, TWCC is owned by a consortium made up of NBC Universal and the private equity firms The Blackstone Group and Bain Capital. The network was launched on May 5, 1982
It “is owned by The Weather Company,6 itself owned by a consortium1 that is owned in turn by NBCUniversal and investment firms The Blackstone Group and Bain Capital” which also owns The Weather Underground, Intellicast, etc. I do not know where IBM fits into all that.It used to be the most available channel on cable in the US, but “[a]ctual viewership of the channel averaged 210,000 during 2013 and has been declining for several years.10” {All this according to Wikipedia, and everybody knows it’s never wrong.]
@corpcasselbury I grew up in the 1960s and 1970s. The “global cooling” / “coming ice age” threat in the 1970s wasn’t as common as you claim. Climate science was more concerned about warming; only a few predicted cooling.
Pretty funny considering the founder of the Weather Channel is certain that “global warming” is a hoax and climate CHANGE is a natural phenomena of this planet.
Y’all just continue to neglect the facts! Maybe in your lifetime, it won’t matter a whole lot. But somewhere down the road, things will change and then it will be too late to fix them. I’m not a “religious fanatic” nor a “nutcase” or a “liberal” but facts are facts and the sooner we face them the better. I live in Louisiana and went through Hurricane Katrina—don’t try to tell me there is no climate change. Keep your heads in the sand.
serious question – anyone bring me up to date on ‘the ozone layer’ scare that had all of us frying under the sun’s rays if we continued to use hair spray a spray deodorant etc. a decade or so ago? is it still ‘real’ and just died down because it was a boring media message hype that people quit listening to? i can’t find anything really ‘new’ in my searches so was wondering if it had become a part of the ‘climate change’ package now or was stymied by all the laws passed to help prevent it or what happened?
Yes, I cannot argue this. Instead of it taking several billion years, it might happen 100 million years sooner give or take a few thousand generations. In all fairness, I don’t think the odds are in our favor…
