Love to hear Christmas music here in China. Started Dec. 1 in the hotels on cue. Mostly secular stuff, but have heard some great religious ones too. Most Chinese recognize it as Christmas music, but can’t tell the religious and secular tunes apart.
Obviously we need some good Halloween music and Thanksgiving music so they wouldn’t have to start Christmas music so early. They could play those over and over in the malls instead. There, isn’t that enough to send shudders down your spine?
Well, I’d have made an exception for “Grandma got run over by a reindeer.” That was pretty cute, the first 20 times. I’ve actually left stores, wearing shorts, in September, when they put on Christmas stuff.

Looks like she’s listening to Christmas music with Dr. Dre headphones.

That’s really the one I can tolerate best. But are you talking about Christmas Eve of the preceding year?
