People around here — suburban Chicago — are seriously delusional. They run around in those thin nylon basketball shorts, sneakers and no socks in the coldest weather. I have no idea what the rationale is. That we’re really in California? That they need to look like they just came from a gym? No Idea. Was a time they’d have been confined for their own good as non compos mentis.

I grew up in Wisconsin. Cold never bothered me. Now that I’m in Florida I can’t stand cold.
