Robin Hood did not steal from the rich and gave to the poor, He took back the tax money from the king and returned it to the tax payers because the government was taxing them too much.
I live near the Mississippi River. About 20 to 30 years ago, they allowed gambling on the river as long as the casino boat was under way. Then, allowed while docked. Then allowed even when the boat never left the dock. Now, most of a block of Burlington, Ia. is a casino.
exactly who Robin Hood was has nothing to do with who he was to us. There is a gravestone with his name and the claim there was never a finer archer in England. Many a lie has been cut in stone. This was a good one, as usual, though.
I remember one strip where Robbing Hood gave a poor peasant a bag of gold and the peasant started yelling, “I’m rich, I’m rich,” only to have Robbing Hood steal his gold now that he was rich.

It’s become generational, as in we’re rolling up on 3-4 generations in a row.

If you rob the rich and give to the poor then the poor are richer and the rich are poorer, better hang on to it until the issue is settlrd.

When the Bible says the last shall be first and the first shall be last, does that mean people in the middle stay pretty much where they are?

Uh, say, Robbing, there’s a rich guy walking away from you right now!

I’d say the odds are all of us will die some day!
I’m not placing any bets, however…
