it can’t be worse than anything else that’s been done to the christmas carol in the last 20 years. i’ve seen a lot of very strange and varied quality ones on tv. just watched the 2nd 1/2 of the cicely tyson version again. which is fairly good in some ways but whoever decided that odd speech impediment should be part of ebonita’s character should be hung up by his or her tinsel
