What, it took the Apollo astronauts just few days to reach the moon and back, but it takes a golf ball swung by an astronauton one their missions 44 years to reach Earth (and knock our luckless Buni in the head)?

I’m just glad to know that the money spent on the space program, in spite of proving invaluable in terms of practical knowledge and technical experience, also had a real benefit.

It’s comic physics, but in any case it shows the ball (not Apollo) going around saturn, before a nasty slice kicks in and turns it back to Buni.

So I’ll overlook the fact that it would have burned up on reentry, and just say that that is one rare golf ball and should be worth millions if you can prove where it came from.

I’d say the ball probably landed back on the moon. The moon’s escape velocity is 2.38 km/sec…
