My younger daughter is on a knitting rage! She stayed up aeno night and made a pullover sweater for one of Mark’s clients, a mini Yorkie. I just saw the picture of him in it and, if you want, will post it here later. She made a cat sweater for my cats but it is a struggle (you can imagine) to get it on them. Christoper will claw and attempt to nip me…but he is usually the victim who gets to wear it. Here he is:

Hi everybody. I’m pooped from the weekend. Sometimes I feel my age and sometimes my age comes up and smacks me in the face!I’m going to loll around today. So call me a cat!

Barney is quite a bit bigger than Blue, and a lighter shade of grey. This is the first time I have seen them touching without hissing!

Good evening all! Hope those who celebrate had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!

Got an update on new arrivals at the shelter. There are now 9 adults and 3 kittens. The b/w girl that was adopted last week that I had fostered got returned. The young man said he was allergic to it. We could avoid this if the shelter master would let someone build a playroom so people could spend time with animals. There have been groups who wanted to donate materials and time but she keeps saying NO. Again, sounds like a power trip to me.

One heartless couple turned in their 17 yr old kitty because they are going on a month long vacation in Mexico. Heaven forbid they hire a sitter. Susan talked to someone who is fostering a kitten for us and she won’t let the cat stay in the shelter. She’s furious at those people.

Last week someone found 2 siblings, about 5 mos old with purple collars. So far nobody has called to claim them.

We have a legged cat. Not sure about his or her story. There is a huge orange boy and a buff colored girl. And a long haired female. It’s going to be a full house at Petco this weekend.

I’m probably going to bring at least one home at the end of Saturday and maybe 2. We’ll see what’s left.

Susan took the little baby to her house today. The tabby will got to Petco tomorrow because I have Tux coming on Wed for me to babysit. The tile guy will be working in the bathroom all Thur and Fri which is why I had to give the baby to Susan. When I talked to her a while ago, she said baby was sound asleep on her husbands’ lap. I told her the baby just craved attention.
