Ok, guys, from the New Cat Staff here, I have gotta say, Furbie is the definitive Miss Furbie Cat. Eg: she pauses at doors and shelves till I invite her up or not. And last night I forgot to clean the kitty box, so she pooped on the floor, and covered it with her Binky per usual, but also got up in the linen closet and found one of my best company linen napkins (with the cutout and embroidered design)and dragged it down and placed it on top of the binky…still folded. I need a night cam.
Referring to one of yesterday’s pictures, the only time my cat will get into the carrier without being forced is when we are at the vets and the examination is over. Then it’s get out of the way, he’s in a hurry to get into the safety of the carrier.
My first Christmas with the boys (don’t think they remember their first as they were babies) so I’m slowly introducing them to Christmas decor. The outside lights were fascinating enough as I checked for burnt bulbs then the storage totes came out. The boxes alone are exciting to them and I put my artificial tree together to see the reaction. So far it’s been sniffed and chewed on but not tipped over. We’ll see how it goes once it’s actually decorated, my old boys – Mozart in particular – used to tip over and undecorate on a regular basis :-)

@Ppyfss: I’m so sorry you are having such a hard time! Normal course of therapy and recovery is hard enough without complications. But this too will pass; you will heal. It just seems incredibly slow at this point I know. I’ve had surgeries and therapy and neither was fun, although AFTER it was over I was pleased with the results, especially my knee replacement. You are in my prayers!
I took Casper and Moose to the vet about 6 weeks ago to have their back claws clipped. Never did catch Scooter. He’s apparently smarter than the other two. Next time I’m going to aim for him first – maybe this week.

Take advantage of it Annie – it will only last for 25 days. (but probably not – we’re talking Chesney here)

LROS – that’s what my poor cats must feel like.

bbear, our cats do the same. We thought of getting a vet mask to scare them into the carrier.
